**** The 18th protest against police brutality organized by the COBP Montreal took place on March 15 2014. It was quickly declared illegal by the SPVM under the municipal bylaw Section 2.1, P6. 288 people were arrested. Despite a meeting between the SPVM and media on March 13, during the protest media was pushed back making it very difficult to film the situation. CUTV had the good fortune of being welcomed by a woman who let us film the police kettle from inside her home. CUTV also spoke with a cameraman from VICE media who had been caught in the kettle.
