Today CUTV held a media panel to discuss the by-law reforms being voted on by students on November 29th, 30th and December 1st. The panel consisted of CJLO's news director, Joel Balsam, The Link's current affairs editor, Adam Kovac, and CUTV's program director, Laith Marouf. The topics discussed included changes to the by-laws and whether or not students were aware of its implications. The group also talked about the effect the reforms would have on the electoral process, and how these changes would break apart the current party system, allowing CSU candidates to be elected on an individual basis rather than their electoral slates.
